I am having a problem backing up two mailbox databases that host our user's archive database.
Type: Replica creation
Status: Failed
Description: DPM encountered a retryable VSS error. (ID 30112 Details: VssError:The writer's timeout expired between the Freeze and Thaw events.

We are using a phyiscal DPM Server with DAS in RAID 50. Exchange is hosted in a Hyper V Cluster 2012 with the databases mounted on CSV volumes in a Fixed VHD.
The backup job runs for about 5 min then gives this error when trying to create the first replica.
Not sure where to look to try and fix this error, when running the vssadmin command on the DPM server to see if there are any failed VSS writers, everything looks clean.
