Using Network Location for Back Up

HI I have customer who using DPM 2010 to back up their exchange 2010 databases. And recently their locally attached storage ran out of space. And they suggesting me to use another machine (not the DPM Server itself) for storage backups. is this possible or do I need to install another DPM server in the new machine as well.(Guess installing Two DPM servers in same domain is possible)
