A few Exchange DPM related questions

Hi - I will shortly be using my DPM server to protect a new Exchange 2010 and 2013 environment. Exchange data will probably be around 200GB to start.

DPM 2012 R2 is already running. An Exchange 2003 server will be migrated to an interim Exchange 2010 to be backed up by DPM and then subsequently to a two node Exchange 2013 DAG.

1) I read that I will need to copy the ese and eseutil files to the DPM Server. Since EX2010 will be introduced first, I will copy those versions to DPM. Later on when I introduce EX2013, will I need to copy those versions over to the DPM server? Will those versions be compatible with EX 2010 as well?

2) For EX2013, I will have two servers in a DAG. Should I perform full backups on both DAG members? Or full on one and copy on the second? If we need to use copy on the second DAG server, what impact does that have on transaction logs on that server? Should circular logging be enabled on the "copy" server? Or does the federated log truncation feature used by DPM take care of the logs on the second DAG node even though it is only using copy backups?

3) The short term storage setting "Synchronization Frequency" will perform exchange log backups and truncate logs, right?

4) I currently use Azure for long term storage for SQL and file data protected by DPM. Can I use that also for Exchange data for both my standalone EX2010 databases and the 2013 DAG databases?

Thank you!
